This element is very important towards reaching peak performance as it helps athletes perform at a longer period of time at a maximum effort.

The fast paced structure improves on conditioning, speed/strength endurance and recovery between high-intensity workouts, which are essential in most sports, while also strengthens the whole body in different functional ways.

Strength Training is important for athletes because it increases their strength, power and overall performance while reducing injury risk. 

The training focuses on strengthening

muscles, tendons and joints which will help athletes move more efficiently and can perform high-intensity actions.

  • Aerobic Training

  • Anaerobic Training

Cardio Training is an important element for reaching your peak, as it strengthens the heart and lungs, improves endurance and boosts overall work, while also improving recovery time.

 

Aerobic Training- Involves steady, continuous activities. Such as Jogging or Cycling.

Anaerobic Training- Involves short, high intensity bursts of effort. Such as Sprinting or Interval training.

Explosive/Speed Training is one of the top things athletes should work on as it develops fast-twitch muscle fibers, allowing them to generate more power and accelerate quickly in competition.

Our training evolves around numerous types of aspects such as improving agility, reaction time and overall athletic performance, which will help athletes move faster, jump higher and change direction more effectively.

Our competition run twice a month with a verity of different sessions with prizes to be won!

Announcements are made the week before competition date and will only hold a maximum of 12 people at one time

My name is Chris Bell, a Level 2 and 3 qualified Personal Trainer with five years of experience coaching kids. I am PVG checked and hold a First Aid qualification, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for everyone I work with. I’m passionate about boosting confidence in young people and helping them build a strong, healthy mindset. With four years of playing experience at Partick Thistle and a season spent playing in Germany, I bring both professional knowledge and genuine enthusiasm for developing others through sport and fitness.
